Caoili connection

BRUNO Castillo CAOILI – father of Gregoria Caoili Echiverri.   He was 93 yo when he died in the mid 60s.  There were Katipunero pants found in his ‘baul’.     He was born in #7 Caunayan, Batac, Ilocos Norte, on October 21.  He worked in Pier 13 in Manila doing manual labor while kids were in Batac.  He later went back home to farm on land of theRAMOS Family and Castillo’s as well.

Simeona RAMOS is the mother of Gregoria Caoili Echiverri.  She  died at age 81.  She was born in #14 Bongon, Batac, Ilocos Norte.  She is 1 of 3 daughters of Jorge Ramos and Laureana Queddeng [prominent landowners].  When Jorge died, Laureana re-married to the MALABED family.   The 3 sisters apparently slaved ‘ala’ cinderella.
A half brother IRINEO MALABED came to the STATES and became a chauffer of a prominent family in Greenwich Connecticut.  He married a German immigrant whose brother was an SS officer during the WWII.   They did not have any children but when he got widowed, he came back to the Philippines to live with the Echiverris in Tampoy St, Project 2 before eventually joining the surviving sisters in Santa Ana, Cagayan where he ultimately died.      AGUSTIN Ramos, an uncle of Simeona, had a son, GREGORIO Ramos who is the father of Auntie Gloria Ramos from Isabela.
